PsychoTherapy & Counselling That Meets You just As You Are
A space to slow down, be yourself, and make sense of your experience.
WHat might bring you HERE
Perhaps you've been carrying something for a long time and it's beginning to show. You may feel anxious, depressed, or caught in a pattern you can't seem to shift.
You may have bent yourself out of shape keeping everyone around you happy and now feel lost to yourself. Perhaps relationships are hard. Too close is too much. Too distant not enough. Or maybe, you’re wondering why you’ve not found your person.
Much of what brings people to therapy is fear of some kind - fear of being too much, of not being enough, of grief that won't end, of the wrong decision looming.
Being human is so hard. It's easy to feel lost and alone in the thick of our issues.
Together, we make space for the mess, the muddle, the uncertainty, and the anxiety. With curiosity, we meet how hard it’s been to carry this with tenderness and compassion. All parts of you are welcome so you can let it all out here - trusting that you’ll not be judged for doing exactly that.

If you see yourself here, you’re warmly invited to get in touch.
You don't need to know exactly what's up. We always begin with what’s right here, right now. Often, it’s not one definitive thing - it’s a heap of them, bundled together. There’s no expectation to ‘sort’ difficult emotions. Or you need to change just because something is making you unhappy. Therapy can hold tension without rushing to a resolution. Relieved? Good.
Therapy is where two people meet to talk. It’s a unique relationship that we create together.
Our sessions are collaborative and guided by your experience in the moment. We talk - we just talk a little differently. We stay close to what you're noticing, thinking, feeling, and experiencing.
Each session begins with a focus point - something that feels important to you today. Not an outcome to achieve, but a gentle compass to guide our approach. An act of care, giving your experience the time and attention it deserves.
You don't have to arrive knowing what you need. Our work together might take one of three shapes:
Counselling - shorter-term work focused on one area of life: grief, transition, a decision, a loss.
Psychotherapy - open-ended depth work, for what wants more room to unfold.
Settle Into Your Self - nervous system regulation coaching, when steadying comes first.
You don't need to know which. We'll find it together on your intro call.
What to expect
Beginning therapy can be daunting. What you need now is simplicity so here’s what to expect.
One - Connecting
Complete the contact form with a few details about what's bringing you here and when is best to reach you. I'll get back to you within two working days to arrange our Intro Call - if not sooner. This can be with video or just a phone call - you decide.
Two - Intro Call
We'll have a brief conversation to answer any questions, get a sense of what's bringing you here, the challenges you’re facing, and the resources you have already. We talk about therapy fees and discuss what’s affordable for you.
Three - Your first session
If we feel there’s a fit, we'll arrange your Discovery Call. This is not a therapy session. Rather it’s an opportunity to get to know one another better so we can decide when - and how - to begin either psychotherapy or counselling.
How THERAPY with settled self might help
Over time, you may find yourself making more sense of who you are and how you came to be this way. Old patterns become easier to recognise, and old stories of self-blame begin to soften. You become less interested in judging yourself and more curious about understanding yourself.
Difficult feelings don't disappear, and life doesn't stop asking things of you. But you may begin to meet both with greater steadiness. Rather than reacting automatically, you notice what's happening, stay with it a little longer, and discover you have more choice than you realised.
As your relationship with your Self shifts, the way you relate to others often does, too. You find your voice more easily. Boundaries become clearer. Self-trust grows quietly, not because life becomes simpler, but because you're no longer facing it alone.
Therapy isn't about changing who you are. To me, it's about having the courage and compassion to meet who is here. That's where something begins to soften and open, allowing new possibilities to unfold naturally.
